Adventures in San Fransisco and Fisherman's Warf
An exciting day, indeed. We started out our morning eating a luxury lunch at The Palace Hotel in downtown San Fransisco! It is actually the site of one of the final scenes in The Game starring Micheal Douglas and Sean Penn! We had a leisurely lunch that consisted of wonderful sourdough bread, exquisite entrees, and a cute mini dessert plate that anyone would enjoy! We also got an exclusive look at some award winning gingerbread houses that were huge and very well crafted with many of them totally edible!
Once we finished visiting, we made our way to the Golden Gate Bridge! It was beautiful I loved seeing the bridge that close. I watched the sunset over the Pacific as I posed in front of the Golden Lady. I felt like I was on cloud nine!
Then, we made our way to Fisherman's Warf where we moseyed around some gift shops with specialty San Fransisco garb and we found some unique shops that sold items from enormous candies to interesting t-shirts! I found some cute espresso cups that I wish I would have picked up but unfortunately I don't drink coffee or very much caffeine at that.
Tomorrow will be filled with traveling but will totally be worth it because we are making our way up the coast to the Calaveras Big Trees!!!
