A Journey into the Unknown
Happy New Year! 2012 has had some ups and downs but every year brings a new adventure. This year my family moved to Maine and I started my second year of university. I helped volunteer for two film/music festivals: RiverRun International Film Festival and KaBang Music/Art/Film Festival! I applied and was accepted to go to Casa Artom in Venice, Italy!!! Let me know in the comments below what you did this last year!
New Year's Celebration:
To celebrate the New Year, we ventured to Pillar Point! We walked along the beach and encountered tons of cute doggies! Labs, gray hounds, and much much more! The waves were so gnarly and there were so many people surfin' it up! There was a dude with a neon board and my brother and I followed him.... He got into the water and paddled away. So in order to see him, we climbed some sea rocks and found a ledge that led to a huge ledge that over looked the Pacific Ocean. Because the tide was higher we had to go barefoot and it was like we were on a hobbit trek! We found a little cave were Gollum would live. It was an exciting day! We got sandwiches from Lucky's and ate a little picnic on the beach while we watched an awesome football game: 3 parents against 7 kids! The parents cheated because at one point the dads picked up the kids and ran with the ball!!! I almost died laughing!
Also at Pillar Point, I decided what I will name my first doggie: MezzaNotte!!!! That means MIDNIGHT in Italian. "Come here Mezza! Come here girl!" Doesn't that sound cute!
I hope you all had a wonderful first day of twenty-thirteen!
