False Alarm

Day 3:
And on Day 3 Mother Nature sent down the Nor'easter

We were planning on traveling to San Fransisco to visit my father's side of the family. I haven't seen them in 6 years! Unfortunately the weather has cancelled our plan and we will be flying out on Saturday at 6:00am! Oh the joy of early morning flights.

Today has been a fun filled day of playing phone tag with the airlines and my bank card company. We finally got a new flight after about 2 hours of back and forth calling. The hold music was amazingly monotone and sounded like a retro elevator. On the other side of things, I spoke with a super bubbly woman from the bank and let her know that I will be in Venice from January to May. "Oh how exciting!" she exclaimed in a voice only a Disney princess would have!

Holiday traveling has never been appetizing and we got the butt end of the stick! The 10 inches of snow has been coming at us with a hard blowing wind. This morning we shoveled the deck and it is now at the same state it was this morning! At least I got a little bit of exercise in after two days of Christmas dinner.

I hope everyone who is travelling this season is safe and finds their way to their destination safely!

TRAVELED TO: Nowhere
