The Curry Hurry

Day 6:
An Adventure Across Different Lands

Yesterday after we had about a total 7.5 hours on a plane, My Dad, Uncle, Brother and I decided to go on a journey to the shire a.k.a. We went to see THE HOBBIT! I won't give out any spoilers but IT WAS AWESOME! The graphics were amazing and the story line was easy to follow. It also followed the book very well. Some people ask, "How could they fit The Hobbit into 3 movies?" My response: The book is well made and it is an interesting story! Probably most books adapted into film could fit into 3 movies!
Ice Cream In The Theater! So in the San Fransisco theater, They let you eat ice cream! I have never experienced this before in my life. I looked through the glistening glass window displaying all of the wonderful flavors. Then I spotted it, The ice cream of my dreams: Butter Pecan. If you know me I will do anything for a good scoop of Butter Pecan. My fall roommate and best friend knows this very well. (Last semester I called Cold Stone just to make sure they had Butter Pecan and extra pecans to add!) I'm dedicated to that ice cream flavor! So seeing it in a theater made the Hobbit experience that much more enjoyable!
Dinner:  To go with our middle earth experience, we ate corned beef stew for dinner. Mary and Pippin might have called it a late lunch. ;)

Today we went to a very different realm, the realm of fiery hot Indian food. We had an early brunch at 11AM where we ate at a quaint little bistro called Saffron. We partook in an Indian Buffet of different salads, curries, and cooked vegetables. Me, being the adventurous person as I am, decided to try everything, even the fish curry (I'm not really a fan of seafood). The brunch was interesting and I met a new friend that goes to University of Cali: San Diego. The brunch aftermath was what was the funniest of it all.
This should be interesting: Imagine my family in a Goodwill. I had to find a new blazer for my collection! While we were walking around, my brother protested that he must get home... the commode was calling. So the boys left Goodwill early to make sure all went well. Then after I spotted the most interesting blazer by Ann Taylor for only $4.50, I had to have it! We left and made it home just in time! Let's just say that all 3 bathrooms were occupado.

TRAVELED TO: Downtown San Carlos
GAINED SUPPLIES: The cutest blazer ever!
GAINED KNOWLEDGE: It's quite easy to travel when you're using cuisine as a guide!
NEXT STOP: San Fransisco MoMA
