The Adventure Begins

Day 5:
The longest 17 Hour Day Ever

Sorry guys for not posting yesterday. It was an interesting day filled with early mornings, plane rides, and  airplane food! Oh how I love mini pretzels and ginger ale!

So here is the PLAY-BY-PLAY:
3AM (Eastern Standard Time): Wake Up Call!
Woke up super early and instead of getting out of bed I decided to watch a fun show on PBS about the Joffrey Ballet Company in Chicago! It was very interesting and a great way to start the morning.
4AM (EST): Arrived at Boston Airport
The wonder joy of taking off all of my jewelry, my belt and shoes just to get felt up by an unattractive middle aged woman! I love starting my days out with a good feel up. ;)
5AM (EST): Au Bon Pain!
The Boston Airport had an Au Bon Pain! We were super excited! I got a wonderful pastry covered in chocolate!
6AM (EST): Up, Up, and Away!
I boarded the plane and made my way to seat 5B where I sat by two interesting older ladies. One was making there way to Cincinnati and the other was going home to South Carolina
9AM (EST): Landed in Charlotte, NC
We had to start boarding in 5 minutes so I ran to the bookstore  and bought a Teen Vogue for my wonderful  6 hour flight across the united states!
9:45AM (EST): Ready, Set, FLY!
Interesting Story:  Every time I fly on an airplane I always think of two incredible things, the NBC hit show LOST and the Linate Airport Disaster of 2001. Most of you know that LOST is about an airplane crash and  follows the characters as they live on an island. The Linate Airport Disaster is something I learned about in my high school forensics class. It happened in Milan, Italy during a foggy day where a Scandinavian Flight 686 crashed with another airplane on the runway and all 114 people on the planes died. So, I am not scared of planes but for some reason everytime I fly I think of these to wonderful disasters.
My mother is hilarious! So since we had to try and get a new flight, our family was split up. So in order for me and my mother to be together, she asked a super shy guy if she could switch! Then after we switched my mom was loud and laughing and it was so much fun!
The 6 hour flight was quite boring and I was motion sick! In order to stay calm, I read my magazine and listened to Forever The Sickest Kids and All Time Low!
12:45 PM (Pacific Standard Time): A Warn Homcoming!
We were greeted by a happy Uncle (Who says "HI") and when we arrived home My Aunt and Grammie were so excited to finally see us. I haven't seen them in 7 years so it was super fun to see them!

TRAVELED TO: Charlotte, NC and Hayward, CA

GAINED SUPPLIES: a mini pretzels and a Vogue magazine
GAINED KNOWLEDGE: Flight layovers are not fun when they are only a few minutes apart! They consist of a lot of running and pushing slow people out of the way!
NEXT STOP: ------ (Unknown)
